About Angel Step 2
Angel Step Too (AST) is a drug and alcohol treatment center in Bellflower, California, northwest of the Bellflower City Caruthers Park. They’re a part of the Southern California Alcohol and Drug Programs (SCADP) network of facilities that provide help to women who need mental healthcare, behavioral healthcare, and domestic violence services.
As a part of SCADP, the services are specifically for women on Medi-Cal and My Health LA, and they also offer assistance with enrolling for coverage under these insurance options.
Helping Women Find Freedom
The AST offers women (including those with children) a chance to break free from substance use disorders (SUDs) in a residential setting. While in the residence, they’ll give you individual counseling, counseling, and education sessions in group settings, help with transport, and case management services.
They also conduct random drug testing to maintain accountability and to keep the living environment safe for all the women in the program.
