About Anchor House Mens Facility
Anchor House is a men-only addiction treatment center in Brooklyn, New York, that also provides support to clients referred from the judicial system. They address substance abuse and mental health disorders like sex addiction, and eating issues. It’s not too far from Barclays Center, the Brooklyn Museum and the public library.
Federal and government funding is accepted here, along with various private insurance plans, Medicare, Medicaid, and other state-financed health plans. Payment assistance is there for folks who need it.
A Faith-Based Residential Drug Rehab Program For Men
Access residential addiction treatment programming here, with 24/7 intensive support provided here for men aged 18 and older. A long-term residential option is also available to allow individuals to stay for between 12 and 18 months.
Care is tailored to meet individual preferences and needs with various therapeutic methods employed. Approaches include motivational interviewing (MI), trauma-related counseling, the matrix model, community reinforcement plus vouchers, contingency management, spiritual and art programs, anger management, and relapse prevention. Couples and family counseling sessions are also provided.
Anchor House can accommodate up to 50 residents at a time, with the view of cultivating a supportive community, all committed to engaging in a faith-based recovery journey, centered around spiritual growth and renewal.
Phased Spiritual Addiction Treatment Services
Ahead of being admitted, you can expect to engage in initial phone and in-person assessments, before you get started with intake and admission. Treatment here is phased, allowing you to progress along the program at a pace that feels most comfortable for you.
Once you’re on board, you have the option of whether or not to engage in the facility’s optional spiritual curriculum. The aim of this curriculum is to provide workshops and activities teaching practical applications for spiritual living.
