About Abilene Recovery Council
Abilene Recovery Council is located on Pine Street in Abilene, Texas. They provide substance use evaluation services and motivational counseling sessions to clients struggling with co-occurring mental health issues and substance use disorder.
They also provide these services to schools, law enforcement, faith based organizations, businesses and higher education programs. They are located in a brick office building with onsite parking available for you and your loved ones.
They are located close to cultural attractions, hotels, restaurants and local businesses. You can access the treatment center via I-20, Route 84 and Route 277 for transportation to and from your treatment. They are also close to Redbud Park, Abilene Zoo, Lytle Lake and Sea Bee Park.
DWI Education and Intervention Services
I like that at Abilene Recovery Council they offer several education and training programs as well as court-mandated programs for those referred by the judicial system for DWI education programs. In addition to DWI education programs, they also offer intervention services including screenings, assessment and therapy sessions.
PADREs Program Provides Intervention and Outreach Services to Parents
I find it good to know that their parenting awareness and drug risk education services (PADREs) provide intervention services and outreach to expecting mothers and parents with children under 6 who are at risk for substance use and addiction. They offer mental health referrals, testing, case management services and peer family support group sessions.
