A Bilingual and Culturally Relevant Center for Latino Families
Working in close connection with the community and local schools, one of the things I like most about this center is its welcoming environment and inclusion for all that are seeking help. It is a culturally sensitive center, in alignment with the largely Latino community it serves.
There are bilingual staff members to support families and individuals in Spanish. The philosophy of the center is a holistic care approach that includes an individualized plan for each client, no matter where you are on your recovery journey.
Drop In and Scheduled Appointment Times
Upon arriving at the center, you will find yourself in a family friendly community center. To help you with work and family schedules, the center offers drop in appointments as well as scheduled therapy sessions.
To protect your confidentiality during care, there are private counseling rooms and a discrete waiting area. The center believes in family involvement during therapy as well as helping you maintain your sobriety to reengage in your community.
Conveniently Located Near San Agustin Historic District
The center is located near Jarvis Plaza, Laredo Center for the Arts, and San Agustin Historic District. These different areas offer families and clients the opportunity to enjoy outdoor time together as well as different recreational and cultural activities during treatment.
The center accepts Medicaid and private health care for payment. For those with financial concerns, the admissions staff will be happy to explain different payment options available, including sliding scale fees and possible funding programs available to certain individuals.
