Velez Professional Services is a social service organization in Camden, New Jersey. They offer multiple levels of outpatient treatment for substance use disorders and are located within the Kyle W. Will Family Health Center, which offers various other resources that support your recovery journey.
Outpatient Detox Services
They also provide outpatient detox services to begin your treatment program. This means that you’ll check in at the treatment center often so they can help manage your withdrawal but you aren’t inpatient at the facility. If you have already been prescribed an opioid treatment, such as methadone, they will accept you into the program and work with your medication assisted treatment.
After an evaluation, they customize a program that can include traditional outpatient treatment, an intensive outpatient program or a partial hospitalization program.
Several Specialized Programs Support Your Recovery
They work with people of all genders and can offer special programs for adolescents and young adults, women who are pregnant or postpartum, veterans and active duty military and individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. They also offer services for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, treating these conditions simultaneously to improve your potential for success.
Your treatment program typically includes evidence based treatment modalities and a relapse prevention plan. They use a 12 step program to augment your treatment, with an emphasis on treating addiction by also addressing the triggers.
