About VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System Beaver County VA Clinic
You can find the Beaver County VA Clinic on Brighton Avenue in Rochester, Pennsylvania. They are located in a standalone facility just a few blocks from the Ohio River and Rochester-Monaca Bridge. They are also within close proximity to restaurants, a theater, pharmacy and the Rochester Riverfront Park.
This clinic is part of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. They provide a variety of healthcare services including behavioral health care to address and treat your mental health needs and substance use disorder.
Same-Day Care Available
I find it encouraging to know that all VA clinics can provide you with same-day care. This will allow you to meet with a case manager to quickly determine your best plan for counseling and treatment to address your conditions. They will work with you on determining the right level of therapy, and potential medications to address your co-occurring disorders.
Links to Inpatient Mental Health and SUD Treatment
This particular clinic is an outpatient treatment center. But when you seek treatment here, they can connect you with the VA’s inpatient services too if you need them.
I believe it's also good to know that you may be able to receive treatment through a VA facility without being enrolled in a VA health care plan. You do, however, need to qualify for this option.
Confidential Services In Person and Through Telehealth
Their confidential services are offered to you through telehealth and in-person care. They also have express, walk-in care if you are experiencing a crisis situation or are in need of immediate treatment for withdrawal symptoms.
In addition to addressing your mental health issues and SUD, they can work with you on quitting smoking. They have a specified tobacco cessation program that you can participate in co-currently with your therapy and substance use disorder treatment.
