About The Link Halfway House
Serving the community of Norfolk, Nebraska, The Link Halfway House provides sober living and treatment services for men in recovery from a substance use disorder. This facility serves adult men aged 19 and older who have behavioral health issues.
Treatment at the Link is based on a whole person approach and uses the 12 steps. This is a nine to 12 month program that is meant for men who have recently finished an inpatient treatment program.
Dual Diagnosis Care In Community
This program is for you if you’ve recently completed residential treatment and are still in need of structured and intensive treatment. While living at The Link Halfway House you’ll engage in counseling, attend ongoing self-help groups, and participate in psychoeducation classes. You’ll learn how to develop and practice your interpersonal skills and group living skills.
Dual diagnosis mental health issues, anger resolution, and relapse prevention will be addressed. Family counseling sessions are available if needed. It’s important to note that in order to be admitted to The Link, you’ll need at least 30 days of continuous sobriety.
Access Community Resources and Other Essential Skills
One thing that sets The Link Halfway House apart from other facilities is that they teach residents how to access important community resources like vocational rehab, social security, and employment services.
There are always staff members on-site 24 hours per day to support you. The Link Alumni Association provides ongoing resources and individual counseling for men who successfully transition back into the community.
