The Haven – Residential

You can enter a residential program, an intensive outpatient program or an outpatient rehab program. The IOP is a step above traditional outpatient care and a possible alternative to residential treatment. Free recovery housing comes with IOP for women who don’t have safe and stable housing in the community. Mental health care sits with the residential program and the IOP.

You’ll get individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy from master’s level therapists. The residential schedule adds 12-Step meetings. Trauma-informed care is part of the residential program. Medication assisted treatment is among the services too.

Yes, in most cases you can bring two children under 4. You must be 18 or older. Women are admitted, and so are trans women. Non-binary people and gender non-conforming people assigned female at birth are admitted too, including pregnant and parenting women. Indigenous women and Native women can use the Native Ways Program, which works through culture and traditions.

You can pay for services directly. Ask for the list of service charges, and ask for an application for reduced fees if you need a lower charge. That’s the payment route.

The team includes master’s-level clinicians and care coordinators. Educators, peer mentors and house managers are on it too. You can also work with recovery coaches who have personal experience of substance use.
