Outpatient Addiction Treatment Options with Flexible Scheduling
The center is part of a larger organization without patient facilities across New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York and Georgia. They focus on providing outpatient treatment that works around your other commitments at home, school or work. There are comprehensive outpatient programs with sessions in the mornings, afternoons and evenings.
You first receive a thorough assessment to evaluate whether you'll be best served in a traditional outpatient setting or an intensive outpatient program (IOP). The traditional program includes individual, group and family sessions to help you develop healthier coping strategies and an effective relapse prevention program. IOP has a more rigorous schedule that includes three group sessions and one individual session each week.
Co-Occurring & Specialized Adolescent Programs
Staffers recognize that addictions can co-occur with mental health disorders and so they offer concurrent treatment to lower the risk of relapse. Specialized trauma informed therapy is also provided, as well as medication assisted treatment using FDA cleared medications and other advanced support options.
The Counseling Center also offers a dedicated adolescent outpatient program for teenagers aged 14 and older to help explore sensitive issues that are unique to this population. They’re in network with most private insurance plans in the state and also work with Medicare. They don’t accept Medicaid.
