About Steadfast Recovery
Steadfast Recovery is a transitional sober-living provider with shared living residences exclusively for men. It's based out in Longwood, Florida. There's a surrounding residential neighborhood and Lake Jane isn't too far away.
They specialize in substance use disorder recovery—often with co-occurring mental health concerns—under a faith-based 12 Steps. Their mission is to foster accountability, spiritual growth, and sustainable recovery through structured community living beyond acute treatment.
12 Steps to Sober Living
The core specialty at Steadfast Recovery is transitional men’s sober-living housing using the 12 Steps. Men aged 18 and older who have been abstinent from drugs and alcohol for at least 30 days can join shared homes (“House 1,” “House 2,” “House 3”), cohabiting in two-person bedrooms under house manager supervision.
Treatment in this setting involves attending 90 meetings in 90 days, securing a sponsor, and working through the steps. Community living includes a 10:00 p.m. curfew to begin, chores, random drug screenings and spiritual practices. Residents repeatedly share that the structured environment helps them establish routines and reduce relapse risk.
Spiritual Growth & Co-occurring Support
Beyond sober living, Steadfast Recovery places strong emphasis on spiritual development and co-occurring mental health support. In addition to 12-step religious principles, the program encourages personal responsibility and purpose, helping residents explore spiritual surrender and service as part of their recovery journey.
While not offering medical or inpatient mental health services, the program welcomes individuals with co-occurring mental health issues and supports them through peer accountability, structured house rules, and sponsor relationships. This holistic approach aims to reinforce both mental wellness and substance recovery in a supportive community environment.
Getting Started on the Path Forward
All facilities are male-only transitional housing settings; there's no outpatient or inpatient medical detox offered. The leadership promotes a faith-based approach and oversight by house managers.
Payment is self-pay with weekly fees (rates vary by home), and they offer payment plans or scholarships for those in financial need.
