In Asbury Park, New Jersey, you’ll find one of Phoenix Recovery’s sober living homes for men just a short walk west of Wesley Lake and Ocean Grove Beach. At this location, Phoenix provides adult men with a safe environment from which to build independent lives and lifestyles, assisted by their unique phased program.
Since they operate primarily as a sober living program, they don’t accept insurance, but do have an affordable fee structure and may offer scholarships for their initial move in fee.
The Phoenix Phase Program
What makes this residence (and Phoenix’s other residences) unique is the structured counseling program that’s meant to support your recovery journey. After moving in and going through the month long introduction phase, you’ll begin this program that plays out across four phases.
In each phase, you receive counseling, guidance, and assignments that help you with self discovery, reflection, and accountability in very practical ways. As you progress through each phase, you’ll get more freedoms like later curfews and more overnight pass privileges, which helps to slowly develop your independence and keep you motivated.
