About Palo Verde Behavioral Health
Palo Verde Behavioral Health is a mental health clinic that can be found in Tucson, Arizona, a short walk south of the Fort Lowell Museum. This clinic hosts a variety of mental and behavioral health professionals, many of whom specialize in helping people overcome addictions to drugs and alcohol.
They also have psychologists and psychiatrists who deal with most other mental health conditions, equipping them to give you the support you need if you have a co occurring condition.
A Chemical Dependency Program that Improves Overall Well Being
Among their services, there’s a dedicated intensive outpatient program (IOP) that provides individualized and flexible treatment to help heal one’s struggle with addiction.
In this program, they provide therapy and skills development classes, particularly for things like anger management and communication skills, to help you through the more personal aspects of living with addiction. They also have group therapy and family therapy sessions where you can strengthen the relationships that support you during recovery. Some of their outpatient treatment is available by telehealth.
Flexible Inpatient Services
PVBH’s residential treatment takes place in a facility where individuals can receive intensive care for a number of psychiatric conditions, including those that are linked to the misuse of substances. In this setting, they offer crisis stabilization services and a number of individual, group and recreational therapies.
I find it notable that they have programs for many different age ranges, including specialized programs for teenagers as well as a geriatric program for older adults.
