About Outreach Project
Outreach Project in Brentwood, New York, offers a number of services including a recovery residence for women, a young adult residence, and adolescent and teen residential services. The center accepts private insurance along with Medicaid and Medicare.
Women’s Residential and Outpatient Treatment
The residence for women places two women in single beds per room. The house offers desk spaces for work, community spaces for family visits and sober activities, a communal dining area, an outdoor patio, and a garden area.
As a resident of the center, you will be required to attend outpatient substance use treatment. The center will provide transportation for you.
Women have specific needs relative to their gender. The center provides trauma informed care, domestic violence counseling, and health education.
Young Adults’ Residential Treatment
The young adult residential program accepts ages 18 to 25. Substance use treatment is provided in the residence including psychiatric services, individual and group therapies, family counseling, and special topics groups. Also available are vocational classrooms, technology labs, and recreational areas.
Youth Residential and Addiction Services
Residential treatment for teens is offered for clients aged 12 to 18. Youth receive substance use counseling, alternative school education through the New York City Department of Education, therapeutic programs, and recreational programs. Family members are able to participate in the youth’s treatment and can receive referrals for community support.
