About Oaks of Hope – Closed
Oaks of Hope could be found on Josel Drive in Santa Clarita, California. They’re now permanently closed. They provided residential and outpatient care to address and treat behavioral health issues relating to mental health and substance use disorders. Programs often had a spiritual focus.
Luxury Residential In-Patient and Outpatient Treatment
I love that Oaks of Hope was located in a residential setting, with lush landscape, lagoon-like water features complete with a water slide and cozy living quarters and common areas, to help you on your holistic healing journey. They’re located in a mountainous region near the Angeles National Forest. They were accessible by Highway 14 and close to I-210, I-5 and I-405.
Specialized Detox
At Oaks of Hope, they provided detoxification services, therapy and counseling in a luxury setting. Their residential manor had four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Therapy included spirituality workshops, yoga, hiking and meditation in an outpatient or inpatient setting, depending on your need. Their program lasted between 30-90 days, depending on the level of treatment you required.
Natural Healing Therapy and Recreation
Oaks incorporated many of the natural healing opportunities conducive to the surrounding area including the mountains, forests and water. They often provided day trips which may have included hiking, visits to the beach and lakes, as well as outdoor therapeutic activities like yoga and meditation in natural healing environments.
Additionally, Oaks of Hope focused on providing nutritional meals and educating their clients on changing their eating habits to heal the body and encourage a healthier lifestyle.
They specialized in their detoxification services and their use of volunteer AA meetings, counseling and medications to provide relief from withdrawal symptoms including cravings and pain management. They believed that anyone can be free of addiction with the right level of therapy, natural healing and treatment.
