About Adult and Teen Challenge Rochester Mens Center
Located across from a quiet residential area of northwest Rochester, Minnesota, the Adult and Teen Challenge Men’s Center provides short and long term addiction treatment for adult men. They’ve been part of the local community for over seven years helping men break free from substance use disorders. In Rochester, most drug overdose deaths are linked to opioids laced with fentanyl making long-term recovery support more important than ever.
Licensed Treatment in a Short Term Program
This program is licensed by the state of Minnesota and uses evidence based treatment methods, including individual and group counseling. They offer a specialized opioid treatment program. You’ll stay in treatment for about 45 to 90 days depending on your needs and progress.
Part of the treatment here includes building everyday life skills to help make your transition back to normal life easier. One man said he learned more in a week here than he did in a year at another center. He felt like the staff truly cared about his success in recovery.
Residential Recovery in a Faith Based Environment
A faith based recovery program feels different from a clinical setting. You’ll have a similar structure to what’s found in a short term program but there’s more time spent building community and working on spiritual growth. Daily life includes things like group devotionals and Bible study along with individual and group counseling.
This program lasts about a year which allows more time to work through deeper struggles. It’s a holistic program where a team of mental health professionals and chaplains helps with the emotional, physical and spiritual side of addiction.
Supportive Amenities for Recovery
Located on 14 wooded acres, residents enjoy a peaceful, focused environment for recovery. You’ll have access to a community garden and an indoor gym to support your physical and mental well-being. There’s a chapel where everyone meets for spiritual support.
