Life Changers Outreach West Virginia Men’s Center was a residential treatment facility that supported men as they received treatment for a drug, alcohol, or opioid abuse disorder. This treatment center was located in Holden, West Virginia, and offered a safe haven for men on the journey to sobriety. Unfortunately, the Holden location has since shut down.
Life Changers Outreach still operates a men’s program in West Virginia in nearby Beckley, which is about two hours west of Holden

Life Changers Outreach was also equipped to address co occurring mental health struggles that existed alongside addiction struggles. For many people, simply managing symptoms of drug use while ignoring other issues does not translate to sustainable sobriety.

Recovery In A Small Town Environment
Holden, West Virginia, is a very small town, with current population estimates at just under 600 residents. While a small town can often mean fewer resources, the Men’s Center served as critical support for men in recovery in this community.
On the flip side, it also meant that you were able to navigate recovery in a quaint town that allowed you to fully focus on your sobriety. Throughout this region, you would have found incredible hiking trails along the Blue Ridge, unique landmarks like the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine, and a number of lakes, streams, and waterways where you could enjoy recreational activities like fishing and swimming holes.
