About Gaudenzia New Destiny
Gaudenzia New Destiny in Ashland, Pennsylvania, is a halfway house for women, pregnant mothers, and women with children. The center is named Gaudenzia after the legend of a half Arabian mare who was taken in by a boy who saw her potential and trained her for a horse race, and she became a champ. The organization recognizes that recovery and sobriety consist of hard work, hope, and courage.
Guadenzia is accredited by CARF, NAATP and is a member of RCPA. They accept Medicaid alongside select providers. If you’re uninsured or underinsured, you may receive help with county funding. The organization treats co-occurring disorders and those with HIV/AIDS.
Low Intensity Addiction Treatment
The house offers a place where women and mothers can be in a sober environment while in the early stages of recovery. Although the house is not a treatment center, clients still receive low intensity residential substance use disorder treatment. Care is culture informed and gender responsive, so you won’t feel isolated or alienated.
When we’re constantly in a group of people, we sometimes need some private one-on-one conversations. Individual counseling will allow you private and confidential sessions with your counselor.
Residents attend group counseling with your housemates. This will help you bond with others and understand how others feel and the struggles they are going through.
Referral for High Intensity Treatment
