About FCC Behavioral Health Adolescent Horizons
FCC Behavioral Health Adolescent Horizons is a non-profit adolescent substance use treatment program in Kennett, Missouri serving teens ages 12 to 17 across Southeast Missouri.
They are built on the belief that young people heal best when treatment supports their recovery while keeping them connected to family, school, and community.
The program offers residential group home care, day treatment, intensive outpatient, and standard outpatient services. Treatment is offered for substance use along with co-occurring mental health, trauma, and behavioral concerns.
Adolescent Substance Use Treatment
Adolescent Horizons specializes in youth focused substance use care, providing supervised residential treatment in two home like group homes on a single campus.
Teens receive 24 hour supervision, structured recreation, daily living support, and academic assistance to maintain progress in school during their stay.
Clinical care draws on evidence based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing using the Matrix Model, trauma focused counseling, and relapse prevention.
Counseling helps adolescents address the underlying drivers of substance use while building healthier coping skills, social connections, and recovery supports.
Wraparound Support for Teens and Families
Beyond core treatment the program offers case management and peer support, psychiatry and social skills development, discharge planning, overdose education, and transportation assistance.
This wraparound model helps adolescents and their families navigate recovery as part of FCC's broader community behavioral health network.
