About Fairview Alcoholism Crisis Center
Fairview Alcoholism Crisis Center is part of the Fairview Recovery Services network. It’s based in Binghamton, New York. They provide support to adults aged 18 and older. Care extends to individuals with experienced trauma, or concurrent mental health issues. The facility has 20 detox beds.
Federal and government funding is accepted, along with public assistance, Managed Medicaid, and self-pay options.
An Addiction Stabilization Center in Broome County
Detox from addictive substances safely with the support of a dedicated team of professionals at this facility. Care is provided to help you manage the discomfort of withdrawal symptoms, severe cravings as well as any medical or psychiatric symptoms that may arise as part of detox.
Medication-assisted withdrawal approaches are used to make you more comfortable along with individual and group counseling sessions. Clients typically stay for up to 28 days.
Gender-Specific Residential Reintegration Programming
Residential reintegration programs are offered separately here for both male and female clients. Participants receive room and board in the facility’s semi-independent recovery environment. These centers aren’t here, but are close by. They can refer you if need be.
Services include case management, access to various support groups like Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous (AA/NA), relapse prevention, counseling, recreational activities, as well as referrals for vocational and educational opportunities. The women’s program provides similar services.
If outdoor excursions are possible, you might have a supervised visit to Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park or the Roberson Museum and Science Center.
