You can find the Center for Behavioral Health in a metropolitan corner of Tucson, Arizona. It’s also part of the BHG network. It’s a drug addiction treatment center with walk-in services and aftercare support focused on treating and addressing opioid addiction.
MAT Through Outpatient Services
They offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) through outpatient services to those in need of medication to address their severe and persistent withdrawal symptoms including cravings to help achieve stabilization and to move forward with the next steps towards your recovery. MAT can also assist in managing common side effects of withdrawal to avoid relapse.
I find it good to know that while in treatment, they provide one-on-one therapy, family and group counseling services. They promote peer-recovery by allowing you to share experiences with like-minded individuals who were in similar situations.
In addition, they provide services to those struggling with gambling issues and to those who have been victims of domestic violence. They also offer treatment and support for those diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and prevention services to those at risk.
DUI Classes, Anger Management & Support
I like that the center also offers DUI classes and workshops to address impulse control and anger management. All classes are offered in conjunction with counseling and therapy, with the support structure of medication management, where needed.
