About Beauterre Recovery Institute
Beauterre Recovery Institute combines compassion with science to make addiction recovery possible. The institute is in Owatonna, Minnesota, where the treatment team takes a holistic approach to comprehensive treatment plans for substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health issues. The facility accepts insurance and is in network with many major providers. From detox to residential to outpatient treatment, there’s a wide array of programs to meet your needs.
Owatonna can be a nice spot to begin your recovery journey. The inpatient treatment program is only two miles from scenic Morehouse Park. The park offers skating, ice skating, fishing, and swimming in the lake. The program is also a short walk to much of downtown.
Treatment Program for Professionals
The residential treatment program for professionals offers treatment for healthcare providers and other professionals with addiction issues. Some professionals face regulatory and diversion board requirements in the quest to return to work, and the program addresses their unique needs.
The program for professionals is for men and women and addresses both substance use and misuse as well as co-occurring mental health disorders. The programs are personalized and include personality assessments and medication management. The team will identify your unique work situation in the context of your addiction to target your treatment for the most effective outcome.
Physical activity is part of the program. You can practice your swing at the golf practice tee, go for a walk on the walking trails, or play tennis. There’s also a fitness center.
After completing the program, you’ll continue to have support as you work to meet regulatory and licensing requirements. You’ll have one year of online and phone support to continue on your road to recovery.
Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Option
The center offers a virtual option for clients who can’t get to the in-person program. The virtual IOP is Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon and offers the same comprehensive treatment as the in-person group. Clients receive individual and group therapy, education and stress management tools in addition to covering many educational topics such as emotional regulation, mindfulness and trauma.
