About Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services Bradford
Marilyn Home Hall in Bradford, Pennsylvania, is an outpatient clinic of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services (ADAS). It’s in the same building as the Marilyn Horne Museum. ADAS is the main authority for care in Cameron, Elk and McKean Counties. They have evening sessions on Tuesdays.
In addition to substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment, the clinic also offers treatment for gambling and nicotine addictions. Treatment sessions can be attended virtually via telehealth.
Priority is given to pregnant women who use substances and/or inject drugs, survivors of overdose and veterans. The clinic uses trauma informed therapy to treat clients.
Walk in for an Intake and Screening
You can walk into the clinic during open hours for an intake and screening. An assigned case manager meets with you during your first scheduled appointment for an assessment. Your case manager refers you to the level of care that you need and other support services.
Medication Assisted Treatment Referral
You may be assigned to a case coordinator. Your case coordinator can refer you to a partner provider who can provide medication assisted treatment. Medications prescribed by partners include Vivitrol, Suboxone or methadone.
Case coordinators can assist in finding housing, transportation, education, employment, and vocational training. They can refer you to local resources such as a provider for physical health, mental health treatment, and assistance with legal issues. You can also receive assistance with childcare.
Working through Recovery with a Peer
Your case manager may assign you to a certified recovery specialist. This specialist is also a peer in recovery and offers hope and support. Your peer helps you develop a personal recovery plan, addresses challenges with recovery-oriented tools, and builds relationships with other community members in recovery through support groups.
