About Volunteers of America

Volunteers of America (VOA), located on West 3rd Avenue in the northwest downtown area of Anchorage, Alaska, is a non-profit organization for youth 12-24 years old. They offer mental health and substance abuse treatment, intervention, and case management services. VOA has outpatient and intensive outpatient programs, plus a residential program for youth 14-18 years old. The length of stay in the residential program is based on client needs. Treatment includes addiction and relapse prevention programming, psychiatric services, and on-site schooling.
