Mrs. Vivian J Hazzard is a Professional Registered Nurse certified in public health with over 30 years of experience. She is a proud and well-trained graduate of Loma Linda University School of Nursing where she studied under a holistic philosophy and a mission to “make man whole.” Vivian truly believes nursing is her “life’s’ work” and has clinical experience to include quality management, medical-surgical, pediatrics, oncology, hospice, ambulatory, telephonic/video, and community health. During her career, she has had the opportunity to facilitate the development of clinical content, nursing guidelines and workflows that directly impacted clients with behavioral health needs. Vivian has been a support and care provider for clients and colleagues that have a diagnosis of substance abuse disorder. She has lovingly applied her knowledge and passion for health and healing within her sphere of influence to support and advocate for her loved ones who have substance abuse disorders and those who are in recovery.

Vivian is the Founder and CEO of Family To Family, Inc., a training and consultation group offering a wide array of expert health-related support to individuals, families, and organizations. She has combined and transformed her skills, talents, hobbies, expertise, and passion into a business where health advocacy, quality care, education, and literacy are the central goal. Hazzard’s diverse expertise is sought after by many companies to provide academic and healthcare writing, articles, presentations, and workshops.

Vivian grew up in the Northern California Bay Area and currently resides in Georgia. She is married to her “love for a lifetime” Gregory, Sr. and together they have two adult children. Her spare time is spent reading, creatively writing, or coaching a mentee. She can also be found digging in her garden, stretched out in her hammock near water, practicing her yoga or somewhere peaceful communing with nature.
